How does auto-posting work?
On Unlimited, you connect your X account through a secure OAuth flow. PostPilot publishes posts you approve according to the schedule you set. You can pause or revoke access from the dashboard.
Do I need to connect X for every tier?
No. Free and Starter are focused on generation and manual posting. Only Unlimited uses X connection for automated publishing.
What counts as a generation credit?
Starter includes 30 generations — each time you request a new batch of post content from the AI, it consumes credits according to the rules shown in your dashboard. If the AI returns fewer posts than you asked for, the credits for the missing ones go back to you. Cached marketing demos on this page do not use credits.
Is Unlimited really unlimited?
There is no count on generations or posts. Every post PostPilot publishes for you is billed to us by X ($0.015, or $0.20 when it contains a link) and every generation by our AI provider, so Unlimited has a fair-use allowance: what you use in any 31 days, and so in any billing month, can cost up to the plan price less $4 for payment fees. That is about 1,400 published posts if you write them yourself, or about 100 if every post has a link. Writing posts with PostPilot draws on the same allowance (1 to 4 cents a batch), so if it writes them three at a time the total is about 730 to 1,120 posts. Writing and publishing three posts a day uses roughly a tenth of it. Your dashboard shows how much you have used. If you reach it, new generations pause and scheduled posts wait, then publish on their own as older usage turns 31 days old. Nothing is lost and nothing is charged extra.
What is your refund policy?
PostPilot Starter credits are non-refundable once you've generated a post; if you haven't used any, email us within 14 days and we'll review it. Unlimited is a subscription you can cancel anytime from Manage billing in your dashboard, keeping access through the end of the paid period, and it is refundable within 7 days if you've used fewer than 5 generations. How is my data handled?
Brand descriptions and posts are stored to operate the product — not sold to third parties. OAuth tokens for X are encrypted at rest. You can request deletion consistent with our privacy policy.
